Villa Rental in St. Martin

I have someone wanting to rent a villa in St. Martin with friends. I've been to St. Martin but only stopping there on a port of call. Has anyone sent clients there if so, what's the best beach or location to stay in St. Martin. ThanksSee More

"CruiseWorld is great. They have it organized by country so you can visit the vendors who sell that country. They also have non travel agent related vendors, such as suppliers who sell moorings on a ship. I stay away from those.  "

"Akumal and Tulum have some of the best beaches in the Riviera Maya, IMO!  I've been there about a dozen times, and it's my favorite area to visit.  Not many waves though, it's pretty calm in that area and you can snorkel…"

Akumal/Tulum beaches/ocean

Can someone tell me what they know about the beach/ocean conditions at properties in Akumal/Tulum?  Client wants some waves...not crazy but not too calm.  Kids (tweens) want to be able to play in the waves.  Specifically, how about the Grand Bahia Principe Tulum or Grand Palladium Colonial? If you have opinions to share about either resort, I'll take them as well.  I have not been that far south and am not as familiar with the area or those resorts.  Clients are looking at spring break and don't want a hotel that is too wild.  Any resort will be busy that time of year, and I know these are both very large resorts, so I'm assuming they'll be very busy.  Specifically they said they're looking for a family friendly resort that is 'tame and not full of wild teenagers.'  I don't think either one of these will be the setting of a 'spring breakers gone wild' video, right? :)Thanks all!See More
