Back from Cruise3Sixty

I am back from CLIA's annual Cruise3Sixty meeting, and I had a wonderful time.We heard from the usual ocean and river cruise line executives. There was a big emphasis on qualifying your clients to match them up with the right cruise experience for them. We heard a lot of statistics, a lot of itineraries and a lot of advice about selecting a niche. To me, the most compelling speaker was Matt Bailey from sitelogic.com. Matt spoke about online marketing in a way travel agents can use in their own businesses. Many people thought he was the "hit" of the show, and he wasn't even talking about cruising!CLIA was trying a new technology this year, in that our name badges had a bar code at the bottom, and before each seminar we attended, a CLIA person scanned the code on our name tag. They said this gave CLIA info about who took which classes, allowed them to track the exams if we chose to take them, and gave CLIA general demographics about who was attending what. The effect for us was very long…See More

"Princess has the Pacific Princess and I have seen some pretty good prices at times for it on certain itineraries.  They do have a world cruise and you can buy segments of that.  Holland America has the Volendam that is about 1200…"

Business Banking

Hello AllI am seeking advice and recommendations about banking. My bank is charging ever more fees and it's getting unreasonable. I am looking at other banks and at Credit Unions. The reason Credit Unions make me feel uneasy is that they seem to come into the community and then disappear. I want banking services that will be there year after year. I am also seeking to reduce those fees for depositing Euros or GBP.Please share your experiences, recommendations, solutions. I have agency trust account and a operations account, and of course personal accounts. Thanks for your guidance.Kind regardsSharon PhillisSee More

Help-Consignment travel packages for charity auctions

I have been contacted by a golf club to provide No-Risk consignment golf packages for their charity silent auction.  I don't know who to contact to get this done. I've been doing some research and found auction companies with these flyers that all have the same wording-just different resort pictures-so it seems like there must be a website provider that they subscribe to like we have Passport Online and Online Agency. Here is what the websites look like:http://www.silentauctionvacations.com/http://charityworks.auctionvacations.org/If you click on the golf packages they are the same flyer. This company uses Hyatt Stay certificates, but the 2 Hyatt's that I called have no idea what I am referring to.Here is the flyer that I found on several charity websites.…See More
